Assistant Director of Food and Beverage

Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage supports the Director of Food and Beverage in the following functions: Manages all aspects of the Pointe restaurant and various outlets according to standards; interviews, hires, trains and develops staff; in conjunction with the Director, evaluates Food & Beverage staff and handles disciplinary and counseling actions when necessary; conducts pre-shift meetings, inspects outlets and recommend appropriate actions for improvement. The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage will be responsible for the administrative functions of the department, including but not limited to: processing of payroll, time sheets and various department communications. S/he will resolve guest issues in a professional manner to effectuate a positive guest experience at all times. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Food Service Management, be able to communicate effectively in English, have excellent computer and customer relations skills. S/he requires a high level of proficiency in staff management to affect the ultimate customer service experience. S/he will stand for the duration of the shift, be able to climb stairs, work in extreme weather conditions, bend, stoop and carry up to 40lbs. The qualified candidate will work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. A valid Florida Drivers' license is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
