Security Manager

Job Summary
The Security Manager reports to the Director and manages the daily operations of the Safety unit, responding to and handling any problems and concerns in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations to ensure the safety and security of resort guests, employees and assets. The manager will assign shifts, compile and review reports, inspect officer performances and make recommendations toward the reduction of risk, conduct daily inspections and report findings to the Director. The successful candidate will have previous Security Management or Supervisory experience, be able to properly interrogate a Safelock mechanism and be able to comply with the rules and regulations of the Safety Department. S/he must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, bend, lift, stoop, climb stairs and work in extreme weather conditions in order to complete tasks. The candidate will have a valid Florida driver?s license and be able to work a flexible schedule.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
